Smoothie Base

  • 1.5 cup frozen mango chunks
  • 1 cup frozen pineapple chunks
  • 0.5 medium banana previously sliced and frozen
  • 0.33 cup canned coconut milk well shaken
  • 2 tbsp orange juice
  • 1 tbsp honey

Instructions

  • Place the frozen mango, frozen pineapple, frozen banana slices, coconut milk, orange juice, honey, and vanilla extract into the jar of a high-speed blender.
  • Blend on high for 60 to 90 seconds, using the tamper to press the ingredients into the blades if necessary, until the mixture is completely smooth and has a thick, scoopable soft-serve consistency.
  • Pour the thick smoothie base into a wide, shallow bowl, using a spatula to scrape out the blender jar completely.
  • Immediately arrange your desired toppings over the smoothie base, such as scattering the fresh blueberries, sprinkling the coconut flakes, and dusting with chia seeds.
