Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp kosher salt
  • 1 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup packed light brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs at room temperature
  • 2 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  • In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt until well combined.
  • In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened butter with both sugars using an electric mixer on medium speed until light and fluffy, about 3 minutes.
  • Beat in the eggs one at a time until fully incorporated, then mix in the vanilla extract.
  • Gradually add the flour mixture to the wet ingredients, mixing on low speed until just combined.
  • Fold in the chocolate chips with a rubber spatula until evenly distributed throughout the dough.
  • Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto prepared baking sheets, spacing them 2 inches apart.
  • Bake for 9-11 minutes until edges are golden brown but centers still look slightly soft.
