Peach Iced Tea

Ingredients
  

Tea Base

  • 4 cups water
  • 4 black tea bags

Peach Flavoring

  • 2 ripe peaches peeled and sliced
  • 1/4 cup sugar or to taste
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice fresh

Serving

  • ice cubes
  • peach slices for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Bring water to a boil in a saucepan. Remove from heat and add tea bags. Steep for 5 minutes.
  • While tea is steeping, peel and slice the peaches.
  • In a bowl, mash 1½ peaches with sugar until pulpy. Add lemon juice.
  • Remove tea bags from water. Stir in peach mixture until sugar dissolves.
  • Refrigerate until cold, about 1 hour.
  • Pour over ice glasses. Garnish with remaining peach slices.

Notes

Adjust sweetness to taste. Serve over ice with fresh peach slices for garnish.
