Equipment

  • mixing bowl
  • wooden spoon
  • measuring spoons
  • measuring cups
  • knife
  • cutting board
  • baking sheet
  • parchment paper

Ingredients

Dry Ingredients

  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1/4 cup chocolate protein powder
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 1/4 cup mini chocolate chips
  • 1 pinch sea salt

Wet Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup creamy almond butter
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup fresh mint leaves finely chopped

Instructions

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the rolled oats, almond butter, honey, chocolate protein powder, cocoa powder, chopped mint leaves, mini chocolate chips, melted coconut oil, vanilla extract, and sea salt.
  • Stir the mixture vigorously with a wooden spoon until all ingredients are fully incorporated and a thick, uniform dough forms that holds together when pressed.
  • Use a 1-tablespoon measuring spoon to portion the mixture, then roll each portion between your palms to form smooth, compact balls about 1 inch in diameter.
  • Place the formed balls on a parchment-lined baking sheet, spacing them about 1 inch apart to prevent sticking.
  • Refrigerate the protein balls for at least 30 minutes until firm to the touch and set enough to hold their shape perfectly.

Notes

Ensure the almond butter is creamy and not too stiff for easier mixing. The dough must be chilled to hold its shape.
