Ingredients
  

  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon grated ginger
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions
 

  • Combine all ingredients in a bowl and whisk until well blended.
  • Place steak in a zip-top bag or shallow dish and pour the marinade over it.
  • Seal or cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, up to 24 hours for maximum flavor.
  • Cook marinated steak as desired—grill, skillet, or griddle.
  • Serve with hibachi veggies, noodles, or shrimp for a complete meal.

Notes

Swap honey with maple syrup for vegan. Use garlic powder and ground ginger in place of fresh if needed. This marinade also works for shrimp or chicken.
