Ingredients
  

  • 1.5 lbs salmon fillet skin-on or skinless
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp kosher salt
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper freshly ground
  • 1 lemon thinly sliced
  • 2 tbsp fresh dill chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tsp honey

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
  • Pat the salmon fillet completely dry with paper towels and place it skin-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
  • In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, kosher salt, black pepper, minced garlic, and honey to create a paste.
  • Brush the entire oil and spice mixture evenly over the top of the salmon fillet.
  • Arrange the thin lemon slices in a single layer over the top of the seasoned salmon and sprinkle the chopped dill over everything.
  • Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon is opaque and flakes easily with a fork at its thickest part. The internal temperature should reach 145°F.

Patting the salmon dry ensures a better texture. Internal temperature should reach 145°F for doneness.
