Ingredients
  

  • 2 cans condensed cream of mushroom soup 10.75 ounces each
  • 1/2 cup whole milk
  • 1 tsp soy sauce
  • 1/4 tsp ground black pepper
  • 4 cans cut green beans 14.5 ounces each, thoroughly drained
  • 1 can French's Original Crispy Fried Onions 6 ounces

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F. Lightly grease a 1.5-quart casserole dish or a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the condensed cream of mushroom soup, whole milk, soy sauce, and ground black pepper. Stir thoroughly with a whisk or spoon until the mixture is smooth and evenly combined.
  • Add the thoroughly drained cut green beans to the soup mixture. Gently fold them in with a spatula until all the green beans are evenly coated in the creamy sauce.
  • Reserve 1 cup of the French's Original Crispy Fried Onions for the topping. Stir the remaining crispy fried onions into the green bean mixture until they are well distributed.
  • Pour the entire green bean mixture into the prepared casserole dish, spreading it evenly with the back of a spoon or spatula to ensure an even layer.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 25 to 30 minutes, or until the casserole is hot and bubbly around the edges. The sauce should appear slightly thickened.
  • Carefully remove the casserole from the oven. Evenly sprinkle the reserved 1 cup of French's Original Crispy Fried Onions over the top of the hot casserole.
  • Return the casserole to the oven and bake for an additional 5 minutes, or until the crispy fried onions on top are golden brown and perfectly crisp. Serve hot.

Notes

Ensure green beans are thoroughly drained to prevent a watery casserole. For extra crispiness, add the final onion topping just before serving.
