Equipment

  • slow cooker
  • mixing bowl
  • spatula
  • measuring spoons
  • knife
  • cutting board
  • baking sheet
  • airtight containers

Ingredients

  • 16 oz white almond bark roughly chopped into 1-inch pieces
  • 16 oz milk chocolate chips
  • 16 oz semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 16 oz creamy peanut butter chips
  • 16 oz dry roasted, salted peanuts

Instructions

  • Prepare your slow cooker for easy cleanup. Line a 6-quart or larger slow cooker with a slow cooker liner, or generously grease the interior with cooking spray or butter.
  • Layer the ingredients into the prepared slow cooker. Start by placing the white almond bark at the bottom, followed by the milk chocolate chips, semi-sweet chocolate chips, and then the creamy peanut butter chips. Pour the dry roasted, salted peanuts over the top of the chocolates.
  • Cover the slow cooker and cook on the LOW setting for 1.5 to 2 hours. Avoid stirring during the first 60 minutes of cooking to allow the ingredients to begin melting evenly from the bottom.
  • After 1 hour, remove the lid and gently stir the mixture with a sturdy spoon or spatula. The chocolates and almond bark will be partially melted. Replace the lid and continue cooking for another 30 to 60 minutes, or until all the chocolates and almond bark are fully melted and appear glossy.
  • Once fully melted, stir the candy mixture thoroughly until it is completely smooth and all the peanuts are evenly coated. The mixture should be thick, consistent, and well combined.
  • Line several large baking sheets with parchment paper or wax paper. Using a tablespoon or a small cookie scoop, drop rounded portions of the candy mixture onto the prepared sheets, leaving a small space between each piece to prevent them from sticking together.
  • Allow the candy to set completely at room temperature for at least 1 hour, or place the baking sheets in the refrigerator for 30 minutes to speed up the setting process. The candy should be firm to the touch and hold its shape when fully set.
  • Once set, carefully transfer the Crockpot Candy to airtight containers. Store the candy at room temperature for up to 2 weeks, or in the refrigerator for longer freshness.

Notes

Allow the candy to set completely at room temperature for at least 1 hour, or place the baking sheets in the refrigerator for 30 minutes to speed up the setting process.
