Wet Ingredients
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter softened

- 2 large eggs at room temperature
- 1 tsp pure vanilla extract

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease an 8-inch square baking pan or line it with parchment paper.
In a large mixing bowl, use a handheld mixer or stand mixer fitted with the paddle attachment to cream together the softened butter and granulated sugar for 2 to 3 minutes, until the mixture is pale, fluffy, and well combined.
