- 0.5 cup plain Greek yogurt
- 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
- 1 large banana sliced and frozen
- 1 cup fresh spinach loosely packed
- 0.5 cup frozen blueberries
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 tablespoon chia seeds
- 0.5 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- 1 cup ice cubes
Place 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt and 1 cup unsweetened almond milk into the base of your blender.
Add 1 cup fresh spinach, 1/2 cup frozen blueberries, and 1 large frozen sliced banana to the blender.
Measure and add 1 tablespoon honey, 1 tablespoon chia seeds, and 1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract.
Carefully add 1 cup of ice cubes to the top of the other ingredients to help push everything down.
Secure the lid on the blender tightly and blend on high speed for 45-60 seconds, using the tamper if your blender has one to press ingredients toward the blades, until the mixture is completely smooth with no visible spinach flecks.
Pour the smoothie into two tall glasses and serve immediately for the best texture and coldest temperature.
