Seeds

  • 1 cup flax seeds
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
  • 1 teaspoon fennel seeds
  • 4 cups water
  • 1 cinnamon stick

Instructions
 

  • In a medium saucepan, combine the flax seeds, chia seeds, fennel seeds, and water.
  • Add the cinnamon stick to the saucepan.
  • Place the saucepan over medium heat and bring the mixture to a gentle boil.
  • Reduce the heat to low and let the tea simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Remove the saucepan from the heat and let the tea steep for an additional 5 minutes.
  • Strain the tea through a fine-mesh sieve into a pitcher or large bowl to remove the seeds and cinnamon stick.
  • Serve the tea warm or let it cool to room temperature before transferring to a glass jar for storage.
