Description

This Irresistible Olive Oil Bread Dip is a Mediterranean-inspired appetizer that blends high-quality olive oil with garlic, herbs, and a pinch of spice. It’s quick to make, full of flavor, and perfect for dipping crusty bread or adding to a charcuterie board.


Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup extra-virgin olive oil
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp dried basil
  • 1 tsp parsley (fresh or dried)
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp grated parmesan cheese (optional)

Instructions

  1. Sauté minced garlic in 1 tbsp of the olive oil over low heat for 1–2 minutes. Let cool slightly.
  2. In a small bowl, mix remaining olive oil with oregano, basil, parsley, and red pepper flakes.
  3. Add sautéed garlic and its infused oil to the herb mixture and stir to combine.
  4. Season with salt and black pepper. Add parmesan if desired and mix well.
  5. Pour into a shallow serving dish and garnish with extra herbs or cheese.
  6. Serve with crusty bread or breadsticks and enjoy!

Notes

Customize with your favorite herbs or add chili oil for extra heat. Use fresh, high-quality olive oil for best results. Toast bread for added texture.
