  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp hoisin sauce
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp fresh ginger, minced
  • ½ cup light mayo
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 carrot, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup mushrooms, halved
  • 1 yellow onion, chopped
  • 1 zucchini, chopped
  • 2 cups cooked white rice
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 egg
  • 4 green onions, sliced

Instructions

  1. Combine soy sauce, sesame oil, hoisin, garlic, and ginger in a bowl to make the marinade.
  2. Marinate the steak for at least 20 minutes.
  3. Sauté vegetables in olive oil until tender-crisp and season with soy sauce.
  4. Cook fried rice in butter and garlic, add soy sauce, scrambled egg, and green onions.
  5. In a separate pan, sear the steak 3–5 minutes per side.
  6. Let steak rest, slice thinly, and serve hot with mustard sauce on the side.

Notes
