Ingredients
Scale
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon grated ginger
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients in a bowl and whisk until well blended.
- Place steak in a zip-top bag or shallow dish and pour the marinade over it.
- Seal or cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, up to 24 hours for maximum flavor.
- Cook marinated steak as desired—grill, skillet, or griddle.
- Serve with hibachi veggies, noodles, or shrimp for a complete meal.
Notes
Swap honey with maple syrup for vegan. Use garlic powder and ground ginger in place of fresh if needed. This marinade also works for shrimp or chicken.
